How To Apply
Four Steps to Getting Started
A closer look at what to expect. From your first conversation to enrollment:
Step 1
Initial Inquiry & Consultation
Reach out to our admissions team to discuss your young adult's story, current goals, and potential alignment with our program. We welcome inquiries directly from families, educational consultants, and clinical professionals.
Step 2
Submit the Application
Complete our online application form. To help us understand the full context of your student’s strengths and needs, we request relevant background information, including:
- Educational history and transcripts (if applicable)
- Recent clinical, psychological, or educational evaluations
- Contact information for referring professionals or previous care providers
Step 3
Interactive Admissions Review
Our multidisciplinary team reviews the application materials to ensure our community environment can appropriately support your student's goals. As part of this step, we schedule a conversation with the prospective student and family to discuss expectations, answer questions, and explore what life in Costa Rica will look like.
Step 4
Formal Acceptance & Enrollment
Upon acceptance, our team issues an enrollment agreement, reviews financial planning options (including the use of 529 College Savings Plans via Western Colorado University), and provides a comprehensive packing and travel preparation guide.
