​David is originally from California, spent 20 years in Texas and has called Costa Rica his home for the past 8 years. David came to Costa Rica on a motorcycle vacation trip and fell in love with the country and the people. He realized the next journey in his life was to live and work in Costa Rica. As a youth and young adult David dealt with alcoholism and drug addition. With the help of a 12 step program David has enjoyed a life of sobriety and growing spiritual growth. Allowing him to live a more fulfilled life for himself and others. When you meet David there is a passion about him that makes him radiate, and such people are just naturally attracted to him. Without much effort he makes an impact on those he meets. He is blessed with the gift of understanding and knowing how to make people feel comfortable and loved from the moment he meets them. He takes pleasure in helping people realize life is a journey not a destination, and how important it is to live in the present, to appreciate and learn from the experiences along the way. 
 
In his free time David enjoys experiencing new things in life, but probably his biggest enjoyment comes from engaging in conversations with new and old friends and learning what others have to share from their life experience.
