What happens when young adults have too few opportunities to build confidence through real-world practice?

New research from Dr. Danny Recio identifies Experiential Deprivation as a systemic factor in declining young adult wellbeing, examining how intentional experiential learning can help address it.

Our longitudinal study follows 44 participants: 28 graduates of The Bridge (ages 17-23) and 16 alumni evaluated 5-11 years after graduation.

The findings explore how combining cultural immersion, therapeutic coaching, life skills practice, and experiential learning helps young adults move from avoidance toward Response-Ability: the capacity to trust themselves to problem-solve in ways that work for them.
